Canyon Rafting in Magisano, Calabria

Summary: We signed up for the Whitewater trip through the LAO Canyon, with high hopes for the beauty and challenging -Levels III + rapids. The experience surpassed our high hopes. The canyon is breathtakingly, beautiful, and our guides were completely up to the task of guiding us through. They were helpful and friendly and highly competent! We felt safe and it was a real adventure. For example, we got out of the raft twice to walk around 2 impassable sections of the river. Both times we walked along a steep embankment with the aid of ropes to get back into the raf. Both guides made the experience, fun and safe. We cannot recommend the trip enough!!!

Summary: We can confidently say it was the best experience of my life. The adventure was exhilarating, and the natural scenery was absolutely breathtaking. What made the tour truly exceptional, though, were the guides. The team was incredibly professional and made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable throughout the entire trip. A special shoutout goes to Francesco, who was not only knowledgeable but also incredibly entertaining. His humor and enthusiasm added an extra layer of enjoyment to the experience. My wife was a bit scared at first, but Francesco was fantastic at helping her overcome her fears.

Summary: A must do. The guide was fantastic, been down the Grand Canyon and this ranked right up there. One of the most memorable experiences of my life.

Summary: Lao canyon is an extraordinary place well worth visiting, and doing it while rafting is even better. The rapids were not that exhilarating but it is a technical river and Geronimo our guide did a great job making sure we get the most of it. Geronimo and Alina were very professional and gave us their full attention throughout the activity. Highly recommended!

Summary: The trip was amazing, 16 km (ca 2 hrs) long journey on the quite serious white water stream with breathtaking sights in the deep canyon. One of the most beautiful canyons we've seen (and we have some experiences). Summary: If you’re one to add some activity to your travels, this is definitely what you should do if in Calabria. The gorge and river through which the rafting takes place are beautiful. The activity well planned and professionally managed. Lucas our guide was very experienced and had control of every rapid. Did not want it to end! All in all a memorable morning.
